Sebastien Grosjean and Daniela Hantuchova withdraw from French Open with injuries
PARIS: Sebastien Grosjean and Daniela Hantuchova both withdrew from the French Open on Friday because of injuries.
Grosjean is still recovering from a shoulder injury and the Frenchman has played just one match on clay this year, losing to Ivo Karlovic at Monte Carlo.
The 10th-ranked Hantuchova, who reached the fourth round at Roland Garros in 2002 and 2006, has not played since withdrawing from the German Open in April with a stress fracture in her right foot.
The French Open begins Sunday.
